New Product

MCP1811 and MCP1812 Ultra-Low IQ LDO Regulator

The MCP1811 and MCP1812 is the latest Ultra-Low IQ LDO Regulator that successes the MCP1711 and MCP1810. The MCP1811 and MCP1812 are 150mA and 300mA LDO with 250nA of Quiescent Current to meet the demands of lower IQ from battery operated applications. Both devices have improved PSRR and transient responses than MCP1711 and MCP1810. The new Ultra-Low IQ LDOs are in space saving 1x1mm DFN, SOT-23 and SC70 with various voltage options.

Why would customers be interested?
Prioritize longer battery life 250nA of quiescent current which is ~40x better than traditional Ultra-Low IQ LDOs (~1uA).
Improved PSRR and Transient Response Ultra-Low IQ LDOs have poor PSRR and Transient Response but MCP1811 and MCP1812 have improved in both ratings
Small Packages 1x1mm DFN, SOT-23-3/5, and SC70-3/5 with various voltage options from 1.0V to 4.0V
Constant Dropout Voltage 550mV of constant dropout voltage instead of proportional dropout from traditional LDOs
