Job Description & Key Responsibilities

- Design firmware for complex embedded distributed real-time mechatronic systems

- Design low-level firmware to control advanced mechanical systems

- Implement efficient algorithms

- Must be comfortable with high-complexity systems

- Responsible for the design, implementation and sustaining of new and existing products for the local and global markets

- Responsible for the growth of the R&D capabilities of the Shanghai team

- Must be an excellent team player

- Must contribute to the full software development cycle

- Must develop automation capabilities in the Shanghai team

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

- BS/MS degree or higher solid experience in embedded software design

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in new product development, product sustaining

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, precision control or similar industry

- Strong C coding skills (C++ as a plus)

- Experience with RTOS (Keil / Linux / Nucleus / QNX / VxWorks)

- Experience with communication (CANOpen / TCP-IP)

- Experience with scripting languages (Ruby / Python / Bash)

- Experience in signal processing as a plus

- Strong time management skills

- Strong communication skills (both English and Chinese)

- Must be a proven fast learner, self-motivated, proactive team player

- Must be willing to take challenges
