Job Description：

This job listing is for a Supplier Quality and Reliability Engineer (QRE) in the SSC (System Supply Chain and Technology Enabling) organization and part of Global Supply Chain (GSC). This QRE will be responsible for the quality and reliability of printed circuit boards (PCB's) used in Intel's outsourced manufacturing network supporting products for business units including NSG, DSG, WCS and internal tester manufacturing in SIMS. Although support will focus on PCBs, supplier Q&R support may also extend to other systems commodities depending on business needs.


Qualifications：
Responsibilities of this position include supplier quality and reliability management systems, change management, on-site supplier quality assessments, component qualification, supplier outgoing quality control, factory (outsourced) incoming quality control, excursion management, and continuous improvement. This QRE is expected to work with Intel business unit and product Q&R teams to understand and meet final product requirements. This position requires work schedule flexibility to support internal and supplier meetings across multiple time zones. Some travel, both domestic and international, is required to conduct on-site supplier quality assessments or excursion response audits.

Successful candidate should have at least three years of extensive Q&R experience in component manufacturing and development. Specific experience in PCBs or substrates is a plus, as is experience with boards and systems manufacturing. Supplier management skills, strong quality management system skills, mastery of MBPS and data analysis, and a systems thinking approach are critical. Good communication and stakeholder influencing are required for the position. This position requires the successful candidate to work independently in a flexible, high velocity, multi-organization team environment. A B.S. or advanced degree in engineering or physics is required.
